Welcome to Higher Math Vault (高数典藏). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles and protects information. Please read it carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Process

The current version does not ask you to provide your real name, telephone number, email address, identity documents, payment information, or other information that directly identifies you. It does not create a user account. You may choose a nickname and avatar or continue using the default profile.

To provide its basic features, the App processes the following data locally on your device:

Except for the image you actively select as your avatar, the current version does not actively collect unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, precise or approximate location, contacts, text messages, call logs, other photos or files, camera or microphone data, clipboard contents, or biometric information.

2. Device Permissions and Network Access

When you actively tap to change your avatar on the “Me” page, the App requests access to Photos solely to let you choose an avatar image. If you deny access, only avatar selection from your photo library is unavailable; formula browsing, search, favorites, nickname editing, and language switching continue to work. The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, or notification permissions.

The current version makes no application-service requests to a developer-operated server. Flutter debug or development builds may include network debugging capability required by development tools, but that capability is not used by the production version to collect or upload user data.

When you actively use “Copy formula,” “Share formula,” or “Report an issue,” the App invokes the system clipboard, share sheet, or an email client of your choice. The selected content is sent only to the system or third-party app you choose; the developer does not receive it.

3. How We Use Information

The local data described above is used only to:

• save and display formulas you have favorited;
• remember your selected interface language;
• save and display the nickname and avatar you set on the “Me” page; and
• filter formulas in real time using the search term you currently enter.

We do not use this data for advertising profiles, personalized marketing, credit assessment, or automated decision-making.

4. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

Because the current version has no developer-operated application server and does not upload the local data described above, we do not sell, rent, exchange, or share your avatar, nickname, favorites, language preference, or search terms with third parties.

If future features require personal information to be collected or shared, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required by applicable law. Disclosure required by law or a competent authority may occur only to the extent that we actually hold the relevant information.

5. Third-Party Components and Services

The current version does not integrate third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, push notifications, payment, maps, social login, or cloud storage. The App uses Flutter and basic components for formula rendering, local preference storage, system sharing, and email handoff; sharing and email handoff occur only after your explicit action and open the system or third-party app you choose.

If third-party online services are added in the future, this Policy will identify the provider, processing purpose, categories of information, and a link to the provider’s privacy policy.

6. Storage, Retention, and Security

Favorite formula identifiers, your language preference, nickname, and avatar copy are stored in the App’s private area on your device. The developer cannot remotely access this data through the App. It generally remains until you replace the avatar, edit your profile, remove favorites, clear the App’s data through system settings, or uninstall the App.

Depending on your operating-system settings, backup, migration, or restore services provided by your device manufacturer or platform provider may process local App data. Such processing is governed by the applicable platform or service provider’s privacy policy.

We apply safeguards appropriate to the App’s current offline functionality. However, no electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please protect your device and system account appropriately.

7. Your Rights and Data Controls

• You may add or remove a favorite at any time by tapping the heart icon on a formula card.
• You may copy or share formulas and send feedback through the “Report an issue” action.
• You may edit your nickname or replace your avatar on the “Me” page at any time, and you may withdraw photo-library access in system settings.
• You may switch between Chinese and English at any time in the App.
• You may delete local App data by clearing the App’s data in system settings or uninstalling the App.
• You may contact us using the details below with questions about this Policy or our data practices.

Because the current version creates no account and stores no personal information on a developer-operated server, there is no server-side account deletion, data export, or remote deletion process.

8. Children and Minors

The App is a mathematical formula reference tool and is not designed to collect personal information from minors. The current version requires no registration and does not actively collect information that identifies a child or minor.

Children under 14, or minors below the applicable age in their country or region, should use the App with guidance from a parent or guardian. A guardian who believes the App has processed a minor’s personal information may contact us for review.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, or security practices. If a material change occurs, we will provide notice through an in-app message, app-store release notes, or another reasonable method. The revised Policy will state its updated and effective dates.
